A conversion job consists of the conversion tasks you specified and added to the conversion task list. Conversion jobs can be saved. You can restore and edit them at any time to save extensive time and effort.
To save and restore conversion jobs, use the File menu
When you save a conversion job the file name has a *.SII extension (e.g. "c:\my jobs\MonthlyJob.SII").
There are several ways to use this conversion job file:
You can reload the file.
To reload the file from the user interface, select the required option from the File menu.
You can run the conversion job from Windows Explorer.
To run the conversion job from Windows Explorer, double click the file in Windows Explorer
You can run the conversion job from CD.
To run the conversion job from CD, click Convert (or press F5).
NOTE: If the file has #OPEN.SII at the end of the filename then the 'conversion job' will only be opened for editing.
You can specify the file in the command line with the /J switch. For more information see Specifying a 'Conversion Job' File from the command line.
You can use the file with the built in scheduler.
NOTE: Sample conversion jobs have been included with your installation to demonstrate the functionality of 'Convert Doc'. You may find it instructive to view the various conversion job files (*.sii) and examine the settings found there for each conversion task.

These demos assume CD has been installed in the default installation folder.
