  • All reports file/folder names can now have date and time attributes associated with it. The following are now recognized:

[YMD] - Date in the format YYYYMMDD (year, month, day)
[MDY] - Date in the format MMDDYYYY (day, month, year)
[Y] - Year in the format YYYY
[M] - Month in the format MM
[D] - Day in the format DD
[HIS] - time in the format hhmmss (hour, minute, second)
[H] - Hour in the format hh
[I] - Minute in the format mm
[S] - Second in the format ss

Example 1:
   Date: December 16th, 2015.
   Report file = C:\foldername\abcd-[M]-[D]-[Y].DOC
   The report file created: C:\foldername\abcd-12-16-2015.DOC

  • PDF reading engine has been updated to handle the importing of additional types of PDFs. Different PDF editors don't all follow the same format.   • Command line switch /+{DiffDoc.ini file path}  was implemented to override the default ini file used. This could be useful for those command line switches that don't exist, yet the user interface retains those settings through the diffdoc.ini file.
    • Change the settings within the user interface.

    • Run DiffDoc
    • Go to the help\about menu item and double click on the Softinterface icon. This opens notepad with the DiffDoc.ini file. Save the ini file with the name/path of your choosing and specify that with the /+ switch

Users are also reminded about the 'Compare Options' tab 'Reload on Refresh' option.

Solution: DECREASE this newly added setting 1 at a time.
